Revised Report: Cinder Yard Three
The published version states that Cinder Yard Three contained corroded vehicle frames, unstable concrete and no viable biological material. It recommends no further visits.
The first version says something else.
Raw field notes describe pale growth pushing through a seam beneath a wrecked transport shell. It folded inward under direct light, reacted to warmth and released fine metallic dust when touched. Its sample container entered the equipment ledger, then disappeared from every later inventory.
The amended report moves the route coordinates by forty-seven meters—just far enough to place the growth outside the recorded search area.
MOTHER's archive marks the alteration as a manual edit made with valid emergency credentials. Those credentials belonged to a person who died two years before the survey.
