The crew opened a cracked observation iris for eighty-one seconds.

The official report records particulate density, low-oxygen variance, two damaged support vanes and pressure loss within expected tolerance. It calls the survey a minor success.

The field recording begins with a sound no one inside AFTERSEED had heard without a filter: wind moving through a place large enough to have no wall on the other side. One crew member laughs once, then stops. Another asks whether the sound is dangerous. The answer is cut by interference.

At second fifty-four, a long shadow crosses the tower glass. Its source remains outside the frame.

The released report contains no mention of the shadow. The raw file survived because a maintenance terminal failed to complete its scheduled purge.
