First Gate Weather

The first confirmed air sample from beyond Gate Seven arrived in a sealed brass lung-vial carried by a Goldlungs scout whose name had been removed from the public copy.

The vial contained ash, pollen, salt, fungal trace, mineral dust and a compound MOTHER's atmospheric library marked unclassified but respirable under controlled exposure. The scout refused the clean chamber prepared for them and sat on the floor of the threshold hall with one hand over their sternum, laughing until the medical ward sedated them.

It hurts because it moves.

Inside, air waits to be assigned.

Outside, it arrives before law.

Synthera technicians reported signal chatter during the sample transfer. The gate was offline. No system admitted transmitting.

A Red Oracle present at the debrief marked the event choice at risk. MOTHER sealed the full file twelve minutes later.
