The unit reached a barricade made from traffic barriers, armour plates and furniture. No weapon system remained active, but the arrangement created narrow lanes that forced any traveller into view.

The Warwake counted twelve sleeping places behind the barrier and refused to classify them as debris. The Purebloods observer argued that the absence of bodies made the site legally unoccupied.

The team left the structure intact and recorded the lanes, cups and hand-written ration marks. The dispute is preserved because it was the first surface argument about whether a place belongs to the people who built it, the people who left it or the people who still need it.
