The Water That Refused a Container

The crew reached a shallow exterior pool that changed shape whenever a container approached it. It spread beneath glass, climbed metal and flattened itself against stone without spilling beyond the same invisible boundary.

The Oozeborn guide entered the pool only long enough to establish that it had no single centre. The Saltwrought analyst compared the mineral profile with every known Vault reservoir and found no match.

The sample was not taken. The report says the water may not be refusing containment; it may be preserving a shape that existed before containers were invented.
