The Wrong Kind of Snow

White particulate fell for eleven minutes across the upper shell access road. It melted on metal, accumulated on cloth and vanished from exposed skin without leaving a measurable residue.

The crew sealed their suits and waited. One member removed a glove after the fall ended, touched the railing and reported that the surface felt warm beneath the cold deposit.

The sample chamber returned empty. The camera record shows the fall clearly until the final minute, when every white particle begins moving upward.
