The Choir Beneath Concrete

An unnamed exterior crew captured a low chord travelling through buried concrete at an exposed service trench. It repeated every night at the same local hour and disappeared when daylight reached the broken slabs.

Inside the observation chamber, the Resonant field singer matched the first three tones. Several listeners fell asleep before the sequence ended. The Dreamfeeder listener woke them without panic and asked the singer to stop.

The sound had no obvious source, no clear melody and no measurable effect on machinery. Its effect on sleep was immediate.
