Restricted Soil Sample: Yellow Glass Basin
The crew returned with nine sealed containers. Eight passed through ordinary contamination procedure. The ninth was redirected before intake.
Publicly, the container held mineral-rich sediment with an unacceptable toxic load. The report advises against cultivation, settlement or repeated exposure.
The sealed addendum describes inactive biological structures arranged throughout the sediment in patterns too regular to be geological and too incomplete to classify as living tissue. When moisture was introduced, several structures changed colour. When a spoken voice was recorded near the container, the changes became faster.
MOTHER restricted the archive, citing the risk of a rush toward an unsafe basin.
One line survives in a mirrored backup:
The material does not appear to be waiting for water alone.
