The Last Archive Key
The team recovered a key made from clear mineral and copper wire. It opened no visible lock, but every archive terminal in the intake hall displayed the same date when the key was brought near.
The Glassmind analyst found that the date corresponded to the last day before several origin records were rewritten. MOTHER denied that the key had any relation to those edits.
The key is now stored in a room without terminals. The date has not changed. A second analyst later reported seeing a handprint on its surface that did not match any living hand in the Vault.
